Hey guys! I’m back for another pregnancy update after 2 weeks of going missing on the blog! I’ve been busy with the restaurant and I just got back from a trip to Cancun with my friends! It was so much fun, but I have to admit I was a little body conscious since I was in a bikini all day. I can’t believe I’m officially in the 2nd trimester, time flies!
Here’s a picture a friend took today. I can definetely spot a bump now!
Week 13 details
How far along: 13 weeks and 4 days
Baby’s size: The size of a lemon, about 3 inches from head to bottom.
Weight gained: 6 pounds as of last week’s appointment.
Stretch marks: None. I’ve been rubbing body butter on my belly. Hope it stays this way!
Symptoms: Increased appetite, frequent bathroom trips, constipation, some fatigue and lower abdominal pain.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular, just eating a lot of everything! Lots of guac and nachos on the trip!
Food aversions: Nothing really, but food at night doesn’t sound too good since I don’t sleep well if I have a big meal.
Movement: I think I felt something but not sure if it was the baby or my stomache growling.
Maternity clothes: Same old. A couple of pants and the rest of clothes are non maternity.
Belly button: Still in, but I think it wants to come out soon.
Wedding rings: On
Next Prenatal appointment: I had an appointment last week and everything looked great. Next appt is on Nov 5th.
I had a great running week last week, totalling 27 miles! The farthest I ran was 6 miles and I averaged about 5 miles a day. Some runs were better than others, but I’ll take it!
This week I’m also doing well in the running departmenr and here’s what I’ve been doing:
Monday- 5 miles in 46 min
Tuesday- 6.25 miles in 54 min
Wed: 3.75 slow miles and 13 min on the stationary bike, light arm weights
Here’s a pic from my trip to Cancun. I had a blast with my friends eventhough I didn’t go out and party with them. I relaxed on the beach and caught up with some much needed sleep! Great 5 days but I missed Maia and Rob lots!
